The top 200 list was selected from global companies such as Revolut, PayPal, Klarna and OpenSea. Our selection reflects the growth of Linked Finance and the innovative way we provide fast, flexible finance to SMEs.
This latest achievement reinforces Linked Finance’s position as a leader in defining the future of finance and highlights the growing importance of alternative lending solutions in the Irish SME sector.
The CNBC list showcases the most innovative and influential fintech companies from around the world, and Linked Finance’s inclusion reaffirms its position as a trailblazer in the fintech arena. Over the past decade, Linked Finance has revolutionised the borrowing experience by prioritising speed and simplicity, with many deals approved and delivered within just 24 hours of documents being submitted.
Linked Finance was selected by CNBC alongside three other Irish fintech leaders, including Stripe and Wayflyer, in a global study that analysed more than 1,500 companies. This impressive representation further reinforces Ireland’s stature as a global fintech hub, showcasing the diversity and strength of the country’s financial technology ecosystem.

CNBC partnered with independent research firm Statista to establish a transparent overview of the top fintech companies. Statista analysed over 1,500 firms across nine different market segments, evaluating each one against a set of key performance indicators, including revenue, user numbers, and total funding raised. More than 10,000 data points were assessed in the global study, including annual reports, company websites, and news articles.
